The glorification of self harm is unnecessary. I understand that people need an outlet when they are upset, anxious or feel like they let themselves down but I don’t think they need to be parading the problem around. Hell, I’m guilty of hurting myself without thinking as a reaction to my own anxieties. That’s ok, well, it’s ok for me because it’s how I deal with things. What would not be ok is if I talking about hurting myself on any social networking site and adding more “fuel to the fire” as they say. How can you expect to overcome your problems if you’re so engrossed in the problem and how it makes you feel. How do we expect to transcend the things that make us feel shitty? Also it’s not fucking fair to other people who may empathize and really want you to feel good. It’s not good to push that burden on anyone. Call me insensitive, but when it comes down to personal issues your problems are your burden to carry and it’s not my job, your family’s job, your friends job or Tumblrs fucking job to hold your left hand while you punch yourself with the other.
Costa Rico is in Mexico, so it’s south.

I’m tempted to start subscribing to Lucky Peach because Bust is getting boring and I need to read something that caters to my interests/career choice. Also, I dont want a food magazine published by Martha Stewart (even though she’s a boss) or Rachael Ray (because she’s terrible).
